We welcome Corrina Rose Logston (Stephens) back to Australia with High Fidelity! We last saw Corrina at Mountaingrass 2014 when she played with Chris Henry & the Hard Core Grass. Who could forget her infectious laugh and brilliant fiddle playing!
High Fidelity was formed back in 2014 with her partner and collaboratorJeremy Stephens on guitar and banjo, and in that year they won first place win in the International Band Championship at the 40th Annual Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America (SPBGMA) Awards.
High Fidelity draws much of their inspiration from bands like Don Reno & Red Smiley, The Stanley Brothers, The Louvin Brothers, Jim & Jesse, and a host of lesser known regional artists from the same era. Many have described them as the new Johnson Mountain Boys, interpreting classic era bluegrass through the fresh, young perspective of today’s generation.
For their tour in 2024 they are joined by James McDowell on guitar and banjo, and Ross Sermons on double bass. Ross has spent the last 30 years performing around the world including 16 years in Nashville before relocating to Hobart, Tasmania.
